Pinewood Derby Q&A

Can anyone help me find templates for Pinewood Derby cars?

My Cub Scouts are fairly new to the Pinewood Derby experience. I am trying to find design templates for the kids to use to trace their designs onto the block of wood that is provided. There is alot of information for sale out there, but I just need to give these beginners a few good ideas to start with. We aren't trying to win, just get a working car built.

1. Congratulations on being involved in Cub Scouts. My son and I searched and found several good websites on building Pinewood Derby Cars. The best one we found is http://www.abc-pinewood-derby.com/ Well, he was a Tiger Cub, and using the advice given on that site, his car finished first in our pack race, and third overall in our district. Not too bad for first timers ! I've I can give you some advice, the best design I have found is very thin, low drag, weighs added to the rear of the car. God luck
