fast Pinewood derby car?

my class is doing a pinewood derby with practically NO rules so we can use whatever we like. damage other peoples cars, project things, use propellers, has to be under 10 pounds and stay on the track. any ideas?

  1. Keep it as close to ten pounds as you can, go for an aerodynamic shape (a wedge works well) and make sure the axles are perfectly straight and aligned, and keep them as lubed as possible.
  2. Get yourself a long piece of fat piano wire drill a hole near the front of the car the size of the wire pass it through so that it will block the other cars then when setting up at the starting line spring the wire out and in front of the other cars so all they can do is push your car faster
  3. Use model rocket engins to push it. Hey you said no rules.
