Pinewood Derby cars, What is the fastest way to make them?
My son has to have his car ready for Monday evening .Aero dynamic, thin, weights as far forward as possible paint, wheels, I got all that, but is there a kit I could use, somewhere other than order online, or at the Boys Scout store. His father was suppose to help, but as always then got too busy. I have to help him and the store isn't open on Sundays. How about Walmart, do they have a kit? I don't know how to cut it to the shape of a truck like he wants. Thank You for all answers

- You should really have gotten one from your scout store. But, you might find one at a Walmart, Hobby Lobby, or other craft store. Maybe you could check with your cub scout leader. When my son was in scouts our pack always bought the boys their kits. Here are some sites for you to check out for designs and making a car. Hope they help you out. http://www.abc-pinewood-derby.com/design-pinewood-derby-car.htm http://www.pinewoodpro.com/pinewood-derby-car-designs.htm http://www.buckskin.org/Resources/Cubs/pinewood_derby.htm Good Luck.
- Many hobby shops carry the Pinewood Car kits, but the Scout store will have the best selection of body styles and accessories. That is where I got one for my daughter when her Guide group participated in the local derby.
