Cub Scouts and Pinewood Debry Races?

We were just informed that my son will be going on to our distict derby race. What can we expect there? Does he use the same car or does he need to build a new one? If he is using the same car, can he work on it more so it will run faster?

3. Hello Streaker: It is a cool thing that he gets to go to District. I'm surprised that the District did not supply this information. Have you tried the Council/District website? Your son should use the same car he built for the Pack for the District race. He can work on the car up until the check-in. The car should conform to the official rules, and pay particular attention to the wheels and axles. Most of all, he should have FUN. Keep on Scoutin'
