what are good, not to hard to make, aerodynamic designs for the boy scouts pinewood derby race?

1. From my experience, which is not much. Aerodynamics doesn't play too much of a roll. Your best bet is to get as close to the weight limit as possible, polish the little nails, "true" the wheels, and put in graphite for a lubricant.
